Validity of AIT degrees reaffirmed

The validity of AIT degrees has been reaffirmed in a meeting convened by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Thailand on 12 December 2012. The meeting also decided that for the upcoming graduation, the AIT President and Deputy Permanent Secretary of MoFA will cosign the degrees. Further, till Thailand ratifies the new Charter, AIT will be governed by a Board of Trustees. Norway Ambassador hosts NMFA scholarship recipients from Myanmar

Ambassador of Norway to Thailand, H.E. Ms. Katja Christina Nordgaard hosted 42 students from Myanmar at a reception organized at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on 3 December 2012. The students are recipients of the scholarship awarded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA), and are studying at AIT in various Master’s and Doctoral programs.
