will present a special lecture on 'Constructed Wetlands for Urban and Highway Runoff Treatment'
to be conducted by Prof. Brian Shutes on Wednesday, 12 July at 1:30-2:30 p.m., in Room E206, Academic Building.
Prof. Shutes is Professor of Ecotechnology and member of the Urban Pollution Research Centre at Middlesex University, London, UK. and a recent University Fellow in the Dept of Biology at Hong Kong Baptist University. He is Vice-Chair of the International Water Association (IWA) Specialist Group on the use of Macrophytes for Water Pollution Control and joint author of a book titled Reed Beds and Constructed Wetlands for Wastewater Treatment,
