Second Decision Meeting Takes Place 24 January
Prof. Said Irandoust, AIT President invites the AIT faculty, staff, and students to attend the second Decision Meeting on Tuesday, 24 January 2006, 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Milton Bender Jr. Auditorium.
The Decision Meeting is meant for making concrete decisions on issues of strategic importance for the Institute and not as a venue for discussion and debate. Members of the AIT Community are invited to provide their comments and inputs to the contact persons listed after each item prior to the meeting.
The first Decision Meeting, on 13 December 2005, discussed and proposed further action on recommendations emanating from the Institute-level Working Group 1, which looked into 'Cost Structure and Improvement of Revenue Sources and Growth'.
At the second Decision Meeting, the following issues will be considered: Issues for Aug. 2006 Intake; Overhead from Sponsored and Contracted Projects; Recommendations and follow up actions from Working Group 2 (Administrative Structure / Processes and Budget Procedures / Processes); and Recommendations and follow up actions from Working Group 3 (AIT Long-term Strategies, 2006-2010)
