Responsibility Centered Management to be discussed in 1 March presentation
The AIT Community is invited to a presentation which will be delivered by Professor H. Oner Yurtseven, dean and professor of electrical and computer engineering, Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, United States. It is entitled 'Responsibility Centered Management, Case Study: School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI' at the Milton E. Bender Jr. Auditorium from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, 1 March 2006. There will also be a live broadcast of the event.

During their visit to U.S. universities to learn more about the Responsibility Centered Management concept, AIT Prof. Peter Haddawy, vice president for
education, and Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, dean, School of Engineering and Technology, met with members of the administration at Indiana University. It is the first public university in the States to implement the concept of Responsibility Centered Budgeting and did so in 1989. It later became known as responsibility Centered Management.
Prof. Yurtseven's presentation will highlight the application and provide a school perspective of the method of management.
