Engineering conference calls for papers
The 7th Asia Pacific Industrial Engineering & Management Systems conference, which will be held from 17 to 20 December 2006 at the Intercontinental Hotel Bangkok, is putting out a call for papers.
Organized by AIT in collaboration with the Industrial Engineers Network, Thailand, Thai Researchers Consortium of Value Chain Management and Logistics, the conference aims to provide a forum for exchange of ideas and discussion among leading academics, researchers and practitioners on the latest developments. It also seeks opportunities for collaboration among the participants as well as to promote excellence in the field. Papers will represent the latest in academic thinking and successful case examples. The wider audience will therefore benefit from the knowledge and experience of leading practitioners and academics in this area.
All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings in CD-format. All abstracts of the papers will be printed in hard copy as well. In addition, selected papers will be invited for review for possible publication in the International Journal of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems.
Important dates in the process are: Abstract submission: 30 April; notification of acceptance: 31 May; submission of full paper: 31 August; notification of acceptance: 30 September; pre-registration of authors: 7 October.
