Special official holidays: 9 and 12 June 2006
In light of the decision of the Royal Thai Government cabinet last Tuesday, 6 June 2006, to make Friday, 9 June 2006, an additional holiday to honor the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King's accession to the throne, AIT will also observe this holiday.
With this new development, Tuesday, 13 June 2006, shall be a working day at AIT, with an adjusted departure time at 3.30 p.m. This supersedes the announcement made by the Human Resources Office on 25 April 2006.
The previously scheduled Decision Meeting that was to take place at 2.30 p.m. on 9 June 2006 has now been rescheduled for Wednesday, 14 June 2006, from 1.30 p.m. onwards.
48-hour staff are expected to report for work on Saturday, 10 June 2006. Anyone who wishes to take leave on Saturday, 10 June 2006, or Tuesday, 13 June 2006, annual leave should be taken with prior approval from their immediate supervisors.
