Institute Forum and potluck tea party set for 12 December
AIT President Said Irandoust would like to further exchange views about AIT, its current state of affairs, and future directions at a year-end Institute Forum, which will take place on Tuesday, 12 December 2006, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the AIT Conference Center Auditorium.
At this forum, Prof. Irandoust intends to provide members of the community with updates on the financial situation, the impact and positive outcomes of efforts to increase revenues and reduce costs, forecasts for the remaining year and projections for 2007. In addition, he will also present the progress on AIT's international status and new charter, highlights of some new initiatives and future directions. This will also provide members of the community an opportunity to freely raise any questions, comments or suggestions they might have after his presentation.
A potluck tea party will be held immediately after the forum from 3:30-to 4:30 p.m. in the AIT Conference Center. The official AIT working day on 12 December will end at 3:30 p.m. for this institute-wide get-together.
The tea party is a potluck, so please sign up by contacting Ms. Rene at the President's Office at rhenne@ait.ac.th to bring sandwiches, cookies, cakes and other delicacies from your respective countries. Tea, coffee, cold drinks as well as plates and utensils will be provided.
