2 April: Workshop on Interaction between Air Pollution and Climate

The Environmental Engineering and Management field of study, School of Environment, Resources and Development will organize a workshop on 'Interaction between Air Pollution and Climate: Aerosol and Climate' to be held on 2 April 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Room B206, AIT Conference Center. The workshop will focus on the interaction between atmospheric aerosols and climate, especially the warming effects of black particles.

The event will be the the launching of the workshop on APN2006-13NMY Project 'Investigation of the Impacts of Urban-Rural Air Pollution on Air Quality and Climate in Southeast Asia.' which is a regional project between AIT, Tokyo University and Hanoi University of Science. Sponsored by the Asian Pacific Network, the project will be implemented during the period 2007-2008.
