Institute for Global Environmental Strategies looking for a researcher

The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) is a research institute that conducts pragmatic and innovative strategic policy research to support sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) is implementing a capacity building project for the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and Joint Implementation (JI) sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Environment.

To implement this project, IGES is looking for a researcher.

Applicants should have master's degree in a relevant field and be familiar with the UNFCCC guidelines on CDM/JI management.

The term of employment is up to 31 March 2010 from the date of joining, with a six-month probationary period.

Renewal of the term of employment is possible, depending on work achievements in the Fourth Phase as well as on the contents of the current Fifth Phase plan. (Employer will evaluate and give a decision).
