This is aimed at demonstrating the project outcomes to the AIT Community for ensuring community participation.
Interested AIT community members are invited to join the Field Day/Demonstration Day to learn more about production methods of chemical-residue free vegetables production.
About the project:
The Food, Agriculture and Bio Systems (FABS) Cluster at the School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD), AIT has initiated a project under the ‘AIT Green Campus Initiatives’ entitled “Promoting Participatory Homestead Sustainable Vegetable Production to AIT Community” with the funding support from the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME). The overall objectives of the project are: (i) promote the utilization of unused AIT land for vegetable production through community involvement, and (ii) generate interest among the AIT community to grow safe, nutritionally enhanced, and healthy vegetables/food without any chemical inputs (sustainable production of chemical residue-free vegetables).
