Korean for beginners offered
Due to the large number of students and staff who expressed their interest in studying Korean, the AIT Language Center announces the opening of a new
language course, Korean for Beginners.
This course will introduce the basics of the Korean language through dialogues and conversations. Learners will also be taught to use the Korean alphabet. The teacher is Ms. Song Mun-yi from Seoul. She has taught elective Korean language courses at Thammasat University.
Two separate classes will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16 February to 27 April 2006. Due to exams and
holidays the calendar is complicated. Please take note of the days (Tuesdays and Thursdays only) on which class will be held: 16, 21, 28 February, 2 March
(No class 6-10 March -- mid-semester exam week), 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30 March, 4 April (No class from 5-17 April -- Songkran Holiday), 18, 20, 25, 27 April. A
total of 15 class sessions (22.5 hours) will be held. Maximum class size is 20 persons.
Course fee is 800 baht, and no refunds will be given after the second class. Please contact Khun Kuladee for registration and payment in Room 216, Learning
