Industry Fair takes place 28 March
The Student Affairs Unit and the Student Union invites the AIT community to the 2006 Industry Fair, which will take place on 28 March 2006 at the AIT Conference Center lobby.
Starting from 9 a.m., this year's event will be graced by highly-reputed organizations such as Schlumberger Overseas S.A., the Siam Cement Group, Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Thailand) Limited, MappointAsia (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Shin Satellite PLC., Advance Agro PCL, Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) PCL, Technip Engineering (Thailand) Ltd., TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Company Limited, Mattel Bangkok Limited, and SMC (Thailand) Ltd. Additional companies are expected to join in the coming week, as many more have expressed their intention to participate.
The fair is organized primarily to establish and strengthen contacts between the industry and AIT. As in the past years, the activity would open up opportunities for students to meet officials from companies, discuss heir research plans and explore employment opportunities. On-the-spot job interviews will also be conducted in the afternoon.
One of the highlights of the event is special corporate presentations that will take place in the TV lounge after the formal opening ceremony at the lobby, which will be led by Prof. Peter Haddawy, vice president for academic affairs.
