South East as a centre on European GNSS for International cooperation and Local development (SEAGAL) aims to set up a European GNSS (Global Navigations Satellite Systems) collaboration centre in support of educational, commercial and technical needs in South-East Asia. It is a joint project of with AIT, Instituto Superior Mario Boella (Italy), Politecnico Di Torino (Italy), Universidad Politecnica De Catalunya (Spain), Universite De Franche-Comte ( France) and Hanoi University of Technology (Vietnam).
The workshop is expected to establish a new link between Europe and South-East Asia in the framework of satellite navigations and related applications. The purpose is to create new opportunities to develop the markets for Galileo applications both for consumers and manufacturers. The centre activities will be also focused on educations and technology transfer activities. SEGAL supports the Galileo mission, the European Navigations System that will be available in near future.
At the workshop there will be key note and invited presentations, technology trends from industry, poster presentation, and brain storming sessions.
