AIT Mathivation Center is organizing the second Training Seminar on Educational and Entrepreneurial Resourcefulness at the Khemarak University in Phnom Penh on 27-28 March 2010. The event is being organized following the request of Dr. Chan Roath, President of the Cambodian Mathematical Society and Director of the Scientific Research,Department at the Cambodian Ministry of Education. An estimated 120 people are expected to attend the seminar.
About Mathivation : The mathematics mentoring model was founded in Sweden by Mr. Farid Nolen, who is now the Director of AIT Mathivation Center. ,It has been adopted by the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research together with the Norwegian Confederation of Enterprise in 2006, and was implemented nation-wide in 2009. In March 2010, this Norwegian project called ENTER won the 2010 Global Best Award in the category “Developing the Future Workforce”. The prize will be awarded at the 10th International Education and Business Partnership Conference in Toronto 25-28 April, 2010.
