TSF training for AIT volunteers

AIT hosts TSF's Regional base for Asia & the Pacific since 2004 and AIT students have been deployed on many occasions (most lately in the Philippines to respond to Typhoons Ketsana and Parma).

The selection procedure for this volunteer programme and training will be the following:

- Candidates need to send their application (CV + cover letter) to asia@tsfi.org. Deadline for submission is Friday 2 April, 2010.
- TSF will pre-select a list of candidates
- Candidates need to be validated by AIT. Only students who have been previously approved by their Dan and Adviser can participate in the TSF Training and become volunteers.
- Selected volunteers to be trained from 15-17 April 2010 and will be informed by 9 April 2010.

Applicants should be aware that missions require a minimum availability of two weeks and that students will have to catch up on classes and/or exams missed during the mission upon their return.

Once the training has been completed, the new volunteers will join TSF's roster of volunteers for emergency response in Asia and the Pacific. When on mission, all costs linked to a volunteer's participation are covered by TSF (flights, accommodation and food).
