AIT Extension has been tasked with holding a four-day Professional Development Needs Assessment (PDNA) workshop for the Asian Project Management Support Programme (APMAS) project from 6 - 9 July, 2010. Senior IFAD colleagues will join the AIT Project team.
APMAS is an initiative of International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to equip participating project units and local training providers with specific skills that can help improve management of IFAD projects in the Mekong region and in India.
These projects are helping communities adapt to climate change through improved marshalling of natural resources and better risk management. APMAS aims to bring together 44 project staff at AIT and preparing them for executing IFAD projects through a phased process beginning with a needs assessment and proceeding to mentoring / coaching, field exposure and technical learning opportunities.
