Télécoms Sans Frontières, a leading humanitarian NGO specializing in emergency telecommunications will be conducting a training program for new volunteers from 28-30 September 2012. The volunteer program is open to all AIT students with computer and telecoms skills (particularly students from Telecommunications, ICT, Computer Science, Information Management, Disaster Preparedness Mitigation and Management, and Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems.

Asia-Pacific International MUN is an exclusive five-day simulation for university/college students hosted in Bangkok in collaboration with UN Regional Headquarter and various governmental institutions. It is established as the first and unique Regional Model among all the other existing university-level MUNs in Asia.

 A seminar on “Disaster Risk Management: Examples and Case Studies from Japan” will be organized on 3 September 2012 at the Milton E. Bender Jr. Auditorium from 1300-1500 hours. Organized by the Disaster Preparedness Mitigation and Management (DPMM) field of study, the seminar will feature three DPMM students Ms. Pham Thi Hong, Ms. Atrida Hadianti and Ms. Veronique Morin.
