Interested persons including prospective students and their families and friends, and others interested in knowing more about the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) can avail of this opportunity to learn about AIT and interact with the AIT community.

AIT Career Fair will be held on 23 March 2011 from 9.00 – 17.00 hours at the AIT Conference Center. Nineteen companies have confirmed to join the AIT Career Fair, out of which four are coming from the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce; three from the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and one from the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand.

A play, “The trial of Wantong” will be enacted by the Maradokmai Theatre group on 17 March 2011 from 18.30-21.00 hours at the Conference Center of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). A special lecture on “Light scattering with Nano-size dust grains in astrophysical environment” will be delivered by Prof. Ranjan Gupta of Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, India. AIT Student Union will be organizing Mini Olympics from 14-31 March 2011. Scheduled competitions include football, badminton, basketball, chairball, cricket, tug of war, snooker, table tennis, athletics (100 meter, 500 meter), swimming, petanque, volleyball, squash and chess.
The “Professional Master's in Banking and Finance Program (PMBF) shall be formally inaugurated on 14 March 2011 at the Milton E. Bender Jr. Auditorium at AIT at 9.00 hours. AIT President Prof. Said Irandoust shall inaugurate the program.The program will be run jointly by AIT Extension and the School of Management.
