Invasive weeds are weedy species, usually non-native for a given region, whose introduction results in widespread environmental or species degradation.

The project is jointly conducted by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Rijkswaterstaat, Deltares, and University of Massachusetts Northeast Climate Science Center.Abstract:There is broad scientific consensus that the Earth is warming at a faster rate than in the near past, and that this acceleration is influenced by human activity.

The AIT Culture Show will be organized by the Culture and Gender Committee of the AIT Students' Union on 17 September 2016 from 17:00 hours onwards.

The six-day event will feature three days of comprehensive seminar (7-9 Nov at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit); two days customized hands-on workshop (10-11 Nov at AIT Conference Center); and one-day lab and site tour (12 Nov at Structural and Wind Tunnel Lab and selected tall building projects).The event will bring together high profile CEOs and Managers in building industry, Structural Designers, Engineers and Consultants, Real-estate Developers and Architects which will also create a platform for professional networking and to get update on the latest tall building technology as well as to have an opportunity to interact with tall building experts.

AbstractThe presentation is meant as an introduction and outline of a potential course on eco‐political and economic aspects of natural resources management in the context of Southeast Asia. Based on recent popular culture, ‘Avatar’, different themes of the movie are highlighted and put into context of topics relevant to different theories.
