About the Bio-innovations Asia ProgramIn November 2006, the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), with support from the Canada's International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the Rockefeller Foundation (Southeast Asia Regional Office), organized the workshop on “Integrated Policy for Bio-innovations in Agriculture and Health in Asia” in Bangkok, Thailand.

AIT will be hosting a workshop on Regional Research Design for Gender, Poverty and Mobility Analysis of Road Transportation Development in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) at the AIT Conference Center, Room B108. This workshop is part of one of AIT’s premiere projects, funded by the Japan-ASEAN Solidarity fund through the ASEAN Foundation, entitled "Capacity building for gender, poverty and mobility analysis of road transportation development in GMS". The project is made up of three components: graduate education, field based research and regional workshops.

The Offshore Technology and Management Program, School of Engineering and Technology, will organize a seminar on “Energy Status Offshore Trends” by Prof. Marc Ducros, Member of the Executive Committee, Total Professors Association, on Monday, 09 March 2009, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Milton Bender Auditorium.

The Southeast Asia Urban Environmental Management Applications (SEA-UEMA) Project presents a Research Symposium on Environmental Management Measures for Overcoming the Formal-Informal Dichotomy. The symposium highlights results of researches on environmental management measures applied in formal to informal sectors in selected cities in Asia.
