COOPERATION IN SPACE TECHNOLOGY

On April 26 H. E. Mr. Christian Prettre, the Ambassador of France to Thailand, presented AIT a Software Multiscope from MATRA Systems and Information, further enhancing the Institute's long-standing cooperation with France in the field of spatial imagery, remote sensing and its applications in relation to GIS.

The software consists of a set of CDROMS with capability for connecting
simultaneously 255 users. It will be used in the teaching and research activities of AIT's
Space Technology Applications and Research (STAR) Program in the School of Advanced Technologies.
