Mr. Bouaphanh, a Laotian national, obtained his Diplomagraringenieur
degree (Tropical Agriculture) from Karl-Marx University Leipzig, Germany
in 1987.

Thesis: Potentials and Constraints in the Development of Small-Scale
Aquaculture in Vientiane Province, Lao PDR.

Mr. Chanoknun Sookkumnerd (M.Eng. AASE)

Mr. Chanoknun, a Thai citizen, received his B.Eng. in Mechanical
Engineering from Chulalongkorn University in 1993. He worked as a Lecturer
at Khon Kaen University, Thailand, prior to joining AIT.

Thesis: Investigations into Walking Tractor Vibrations

Mrs. Sriema Lalani Walawage (M.Sc. AASE)

Mrs. Walawage from Sri Lanka obtained her B.Sc.Ag. in Horticulture
from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 1996.

Thesis: Herbicide Resistance Studies of Barnyard Grass (Echinochloa
Crus-Galli (L.) Beauv.) in the Central Plain of Thailand.

Mr. Anandarajah, a Sri Lankan citizen, obtained his B.Sc.Eng.

as a Management Trainee at the Associated Cement Company Ltd., India, before
joining AIT.

Mr. Alamgir from Bangladesh received his M.Sc. in Biochemistry from
the University of Dhaka in 1994. Prior to joining AIT, he worked as a Scientific
Officer with Bangladesh Jute Research Institute, Bangladesh.

Mr. Ram Nandan Sah (M.Sc. RDGR)

Mr. Sah, a Nepali citizen, graduated with a B.Sc. degree
in Forestry from Tribhuvan University in 1984. Prior to joining AIT, Mr.
Sah worked as a Regional Trainee Officer with the Department of Forestry,
Kathmandu, Nepal.

Thesis: Impact Assessment of Development Policies on Forest
Resource Management Practices and Bio-diversity Conservation: A GIS Aided
Study of Hjim Watershed of Sarlahi District in Terai Region of Nepal

Mr. Truong Chi Trung (M.Sc. RDGR)

Mr. Troung from Vietnam received his B.Eng. in Civil Engineering
from Hanoi University of Civil Engineering in 1995. He worked as
a Construction Engineer at the Construction Department, the Government
of Vietnam, before joining AIT.

Mr. Bunpot Sitanrassamee (M.Eng. UEEM)

Mr. Bunpot, a Thai national, graduated from Kasetsart University

joining AIT, Mr. Bunpot was a Consulting Engineer at the Panya Consultants
Company Ltd., Thailand.
