SCHOLARSHIP IN ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
A scholarship for the Master's Program in Environmental Engineering at AIT was presented by the Union Power Development Co., Ltd. (UPDC) last week. The scholarship which is valued at 1 million Baht was made possible through the efforts of Prof.
YOGA Course
The regular YOGA course for adults will resume on Tuesday, 19 Sept, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. at the Child Centre
Library. The course will last six weeks (9-10 hours). The fee is Bt600 for non-students and Bt420 for students (please show
your valid ID card on the first day).
The course is for both beginner and semi-intermediate levels.
Senior education official from Vietnam visits AIT
Prof. Tran Van Nhung, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Education and Training, Hanoi, Vietnam, made an official visit to AIT on 5-6 Sept. He met with School Deans, Program and Field of Study Coordinators, and Vietnamese students.

opens art exhibition
An exhibition of paintings in metal, silk and leather by Mongolian artist Byambarenchin Bayart-Od is currently being held at the AIT Center, under the joint sponsorship of AIT and the Embassy of Mongolia.
Japanese astronaut returns to earth with stories from space
Japanese astronaut Mamoru Mohri regaled a captive audience at AIT with stories from space when he visited the campus on 4 September. Dr. Mohri presented a lecture and a video documentary of his second space voyage.
