French Final Test

The Final Test in French language (Level One or Beginner) for September term will be conducted on Monday, 20 November and Tuesday, 21 November in CLET.

If you have some knowledge of French but did not attend AIT French class,
you still can register for the test and get a CLET/AIT Certificate in
French Language if you pass.

AIT collaborates with APD-IAHR in holding its 12th Congress
Under the theme, 'Sustainable Water Resources Management: Issues and Future Challenges,' the Asia and Pacific Division (APD) of the International Association for Hydraulic Engineering and Research (IAHR), and AIT's Water Engineering and Management Program/School of Civil Engineering have jointly organized the 12th APD-IAHR Congress.

Third International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia
Communications (WPMC '00)

The Telecommunications Program in the School of Advanced Technologies,
together with the Yokosuka Research Park (YRP) R&D; Committee (Japan)
and the Communications Research Laboratory (CRL) of the Japanese Ministry
of Post and Telecommunications, are holding the Third International Symposium
on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications (WPMC '00) until 15 November
at the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel, Bangkok.

Two experts from the Institute for Fisheries Management and Coastal Community Development, Denmark, will conduct a course on 'Coastal Fisheries Resources and Management' for AARM and ITCZM students, from 8 to 11 November 2000.

Dr. Poul Degnbol is the Director of the Institute and has a degree in Environmental Biology, University of Copenhagen.
