AIT Staff-Administration Meeting
An AIT Staff-Administration Meeting, organized by the Staff Representatives was held at the
AIT Conference Center on 22 March. The President, Provost, Registrar, School Deans and
Dean of AIT Extension represented the administration.
The purpose of the meeting was to provide staff with an opportunity to learn more about the
various issues that have been discussed between the staff and administration during the monthly
Staff Affairs Working Group (SAWG) meetings.
Dr. Shrinivas Rao, Chairman of the SAWG reported on the work of the SAWG over the past eight
months and Dr. Graham Mair, member of the SAWG, presented the results of the Staff Survey
which was conducted from July-August 2001.
Staff were also invited to put forward questions and seek clarification from the administration on
issues of concern. An overview of the various initiatives and efforts being undertaken by the
administration concerning staff policies were also presented.
