AIT SERD student participates in the Youth Environment Summit
Mr. Kiran Ajit Shinde (left), an M.Sc in Urban Environmental Management, SERD student have been awarded to participate from 13-27 July at the 'Youth Environmental Summit on Sustainability' hosted by the Alliance for Global Sustainability in Switzerland.
The international workshop is focused on the role of youth in implementation of Local Agenda 21. This event would likewise expose the participant to cross cultural experiences and enhance an understanding of policies and actions to achieve sustainable development.
In the summit, Mr. Shinde will be representing the Asian perspective and his research thesis entitled 'Urban environmental governance for religious tourism in selective pilgrim towns in India.'
