A stimulating discussion followed on the topics and their respective research methodologies.
The visit of the De La Salle students consolidates a regional Consortium of academic programs having a concentration in health social sciences, now comprising Mahidol, AIT and De La Salle. Future activities of the Health Social Science Consortium will include: expansion of the Consortium to northern based institutions, and publication of students' health social science research in a new journal funded by Ford Foundation.
The Consortium invites interdisciplinary cooperation on development/ technological questions needing a health perspective, and looks forward to increased interaction with AIT faculty in all fields of study.
