IASTED enlists Prof. Ram M. Shrestha to the IPC
The International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED) -- a well known professional association for science and technology -- has invited Prof. Ram M Shrestha, EEP Field Coordinator, SERD to be a member of the International Program Committee (IPC) for the IASTED International Multi-Conference on Power and Energy Systems (PES 2003) to be held in Palm Springs, California, USA from February 24-26, 2003.
The multi-conference will comprise of the following four conferences:
1. Power Generation and Renewable Energy Sources (PGRES '03)
2. Transmission, Distribution, and Automation (TDA '03)
3. Power Electronics Technology and Applications (PETA '03)
4. Power Systems Planning and Operation (PSPO '03)

August 30-31: Symposium on Quality Management and the Deming Prize, AIT Conference Center
The AIT Extension, Asian Institute of Technology, the Akira Harada Fund, Tokyo University of Information Sciences (TUIS), and the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE) will organize a 'Symposium on Quality Management and the Deming Prize' to be held on August 30-31 at the AIT Conference Center.
