GMSARN will hold its Third Joint Meeting of the International Board and Council of Advisors

The Greater Mekong Subregion Academic and Research Network (GMSARN) will hold its Third Joint Meeting of the International Board and Council of Advisors on Friday, 16 August, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the AIT Board Room.

The International Board, which is chaired by AIT President Prof.
Jean-Louis Armand, is composed of presidents and rectors of GMSARN's eight member institutions. The members include AIT, Hanoi University of Technology, Institute of Technology of Cambodia, Khon Kaen University, Kunming University of Science and Technology, National University of Laos, Thammasat University and Yangon Technological University. The Council of Advisors is chaired by Dr. Tong-In Wongsothorn, President of Sukothai Thammatirat Open University. Its members are senior academicians and technocrats who are deeply involved in the development of the GMS.

GMSARN is an initiative geared towards building self-reliance among GMS countries by developing a strong service-oriented science and technology presence in the region.
