A Delegation from Nepal visited AIT led by
Mr. Toran Bahadur Karki, Vice-Chancellor of Purbanchal University (PU), Nepal. Accompanying him is a team of academicians including Prof. Dr. Krishna P. Sharma, Registrar of PU; Mr. Juddha B. Gurung, Chief Executive Officer of the South Asian Institute of Technology (SAIT), Nepal and Mr. Pramod Pradhan, Director of SAIT.

November 7, 2002: Professor Li Zhou, Deputy director, Rural Development Institute, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and Associate Professor Yu Fawen, Researcher, Center for Sustainable Agriculture, PRC came to AIT to discuss on natural resources utilization, environmental protection and agricultural sustainable development. They were accompanied by Ms. Tiwa Ngaowichit, Foreign Relations Officers, National Research Council of Thailand.

On the same day Mr. Johan Sundberg, Senior Programme Officer, Department for Natural Resources and the Environment, Sida and Dr. Magnus Torell, Research Scientist, International Center for Living Aquatic Resources Management (ICLARM) came for Annual Consultations between Sida and AIT.
