AIT and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) Southeast Asia Urban Environmental Management Applications (SEA-UEMA) Project recently held a regional conference on 'UEM Applications for Improvement of the Urban Environment.

UNU, AIT signed MoU
The United Nations University (UNU) and AIT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, March 9, 2004.
The MoU formalizes the many collaborations between UNU and AIT and focuses on
collaboration on Human Resources Development and the use of new technologies for
academic research applications.
AITAA now accepts DCPP 2004 and Research Grant Applications
The AIT Alumni Association (AITAA) is now accepting applications for the Doctoral Conference Participation Program (DCPP) 2004. The program - annually conducted by AITAA - sponsors the attendance of Doctoral students in international conference to promote interest in sharing of knowledge and experiences, and to project AIT's image in research.

On March 8, 2004, His Excellency Mr. Chan Heng Wing, Ambassador of Singapore to the Kingdom of Thailand visited AIT. During the visit H.E. Ambassador Chan Heng Wing was first welcomed at the Admin Building and met with Prof.
