Dr. Nazhad's paper republished in Portuguese lingo
Dr. Mousa Nazhad (right), Associate Professor, PPT Program, SERD had a second nod when his paper entitled 'OCC pulp fractionation - A comparative study...' was requested to be republished in Portuguese lingo according to Tappi Journal (TJ.)
In his message to Prof. Chongrak Polprasert, Dean SERD & Acting Dean, SCE, he enthuses: 'This is my second paper to be translated into another language by TJ. The first paper was translated into Chinese and re-published in Taiwan Tappi. This suggests that the work I am doing here has rippled value to be exposed to a wider audience.'
Dr. Nazhad's paper -- published in the January 2004 edition of Tappi Journal -- has been selected for reprinting in O Papel. O Papel, a Portugese-language publication serving the pulp and paper industry in South America, will translate his paper into Portuguese lingo for reprinting in a later edition. AIT congratulates Dr. Nazhad, acknowledges his recognition and believes that his work will further boost exposure in the increasingly global papermaking arena.
