Visiting AIT
A eight-member delegation from the Multimedia University, Malaysia (MUM) visited AIT on June 10, 2004. The delegation was led by Mr. Saravanan Muthaiyah, Head of IT
Management Unit and Dr. Avvari V. Mohan, Senior Lecturer and Chairman, Centre for
Technology Management, Faculty of Management, MUM. They were accompanied by five masters students.
During the visit they met with Mr. Sanjeev Jayasinghe, Director of Promotion Activities; Mr. Ng Eng Wan, Chief Financial Officer; Mr. Tenzin Rabgyal and Ms. Hnin Aye Lwin, Program Officers from the Office of the President. The purpose of the visit was to know more about AIT and to seek opportunities for future partnerships. Mr. Saravanan Muthaiyah and Dr. Avvari V. Mohan have expressed great interest in having exchange programs with AIT.
The delegation was led to visit and familiarize with the School of Advanced Technologies (SAT) and the School of Management (SOM). At SAT, the delegation had a discussion with Professor R. Sadananda and Dr. Vatcharaporn Esichaikul, Associate Professor, Computer Science and Information Management. At SOM, the delegation were briefed by Dr. Donyaprueth, Assistant Professor and Mrs. Sandhya Pradhan, SOM.
