The Industrial Systems Engineering, School of Advanced Technologies welcomes Prof. Lee Hee Gak and Prof. Amit Arbel as Visiting Professor joining in the August 2004 semester.

Prof. Lee Hee Gak is currently a Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Weapons Engineering at Korea Military Academy. He obtained his Ph.D. from Iowa in 1983. His area of research interest is included Structural Analysis and Design/Optimization; Design and Manufacturing; Concurrent Engineering; Automotive Engineering; Weapon Systems, CAD/CAE. During his stay at AIT, he will be supported from the joint project 'Implementation of Concurrent Engineering Principle for Industrial Systems' for a period of one year. Prof. Amit Arbel is currently a Professor of Department of Industrial Engineering, at Tel-Aviv University, Israel. He obtained his Ph.D. from Stanford in 1978. His area of research interest is included Decision Analysis; Financial Analysis; Linear Programming and Network Flows; Operations Research; MCDM; Decision Support Systems; Economic Modeling; Multiobjective Optimization; Interior-point
Algorithms; Control and Estimation Theory; System Acquisition and Performance Studies. During his stay at AIT from August to September 2004, he will teach a course AT72.07 - Multicriterion Decision Models. Prof. Arbel can be
