AITAA bowls for charity
To continually enliven the camaraderie, promote the value of sportsmanship and raise funds from its alumni and members, the AIT Alumni Association (AITAA) recently held a Charity Bowling Mini Tourney at the Major Bowling Lanes, Major Cineplex Rangsit.
The event held on Saturday, 9 October 2004 was opened by Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, AIT Provost, through a ribbon-cutting ceremony and by throwing the ceremonial first bowling ball to mark the start of the games. The tourney - mostly participated by Thai alumni and friends of AIT alumni - comprised of 46 teams competing in a gaming event held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The bowling tourney is the second sports event held this year by the AITAA following the Golf Tourney competition held on June 12 at Victory Park, Nong Khai City, northeast Thailand. Proceeds from the event will be used to support AITAA's scholarships and Their Majesties the King and Queen's projects.
For further AITAA sports events please call AITAA at 02 524-5058 or e-mail: aitaa@ait.ac.th.
Winners all. Alumni tourney winners hold their trophies.
