Visiting AIT
On 24 November 2004, a delegation from the Benguet State University (BSU), Philippines, led by Dr. Darlyn Tagarino, Vice President for Planning and Development and accompanied by Prof. Salvacion Beligan, College of Arts and Sciences; Prof. Marian Grace A. Gason, Dean, College of Nursing and Prof. Marissa R. Parao (NRP'96), Dean, College of Forestry visited AIT.

During the visit the delegation met with Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, Provost. The meeting was attended by Mrs. Laarni Roa, Registry Officer and Mr. Kyaw Soe Hlaing, Alumni Relations Officer.
The purpose of the visit was to explore and discuss collaboration between AIT and BSU.

They also visited School of Avanced Technologies and School of Environment, Resources and Development. They met Dean SAT, Dean SERD and Acting Dean SEC as well as faculty and officials from the schools during their visit to respective schools. The possibility of convening joint international symposium was discussed with SERD.
