AIT, MOEYS Cambodia fosters link

On 24 November 2004, AIT signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Education, Youth & Sports (MOEYS), Kingdom of Cambodia. Valid for three years, the objective of the MoU is to provide higher education opportunities to an
increasing number of Cambodian students and to establish the cooperation between AIT and MOEYS as well as agencies involved in the development cooperation. At least 10 full AIT scholarships covering full tuition fees, living allowance, accommodation will be awarded to selected students.

The accord was signed by Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, AIT President and H.E. Mr. Ung Sean, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative to ESCAP, the Royal Embassy of Cambodia.

The event was witnessed by Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon (second from right), Provost; Mr. Sok Chea, Second Secretary, the Royal Embassy of Cambodia; Prof. Chongrak Polprasert (right), Dean SERD and Acting Dean SCE; Dr. M. Nazrul Islam (left), Acting Dean SOM; Mr. Tenzin Rabgyal, Program Officer and Ms. Hnin Aye Lwin, Program Officer, Office of the President.
