Holiday break campus service advisory
ITServ's network and Internet services will be available 24 hours as usual except on 29 and 30 December 2004 (2 days) when a major maintenance work on cabling and server systems will be conducted. On the other hand, Helpdesk service will be offered between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. only
Swimming pool users are advised by the Security, Sports and Safety Officer that the swimming pool facility will be closed for public use from 25 December 2004 to 7 January 2005 for annual maintenance purposes.
The telephone and fax service of the Telecommunications Service Unit operating hours on 24 December 2004 will only be until 3:30 pm. However, from 25 December 2004 to 3 January 2005, operating hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. only.
The Faculty and Staff Housing Officer (FSHO) likewise would like to advise campus residents that the following services and schedules will be available during the holidays:
1) Cleaning service and replenishment of linens will be retained as per weekly schedule at all appointed housing units.
2) Emergency key service for tenants will be rendered from 25 December to 3 January 2005 only from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tenants are advised to call tel. no. 6656 or 6657.
3) Emergency utility works will be observed on the following dates and time:
25 December and 27 to 31 December 2004 only: From 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. only
1 and 3 January 2005 only: From 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. only
Residents are further advised that no major repairs and maintenance works will be rendered during the annual break. However, emergency works will be provided where needed only during the appointed schedules. Please call 5987.
4) Garbage collection and disposal will be retained as per routine schedule.
5) LPG delivery service from 25 December 2004 to 3 January 2005 will only be rendered from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please call tel. no. 6656, 6657
