Visiting AIT

On June 1, 2004 Mr. Hau Sing Tse, Vice-President, Asia Branch, CIDA accompanied by Mr. David Yasui and Ms. Thongkorn Hiranraks, Counsellor and Development Officer, respectively, of Canadian Embassy visited AIT.

June 10, 2004: GDS Seminar on 'Bangladeshi Women's Temporary Migration to Malaysia's Industries: Gains or Losses in a Global Era?' will be conducted by Anja Rudnick, University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The seminar will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in room E229, SERD Building

The seminar is based on research carried out on the temporary migration of Bangladeshi women to Malaysia.

On May 17, 2004 a 13 Vietnamese delegation representing People's Committee, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Finance and Accounting, Department of Industry, Centre for Health Care for Working Force, Department of Construction, Urban Environmental Management Company, Concrete and Construction Material Company, Board of Policy Science and Education Propaganda, Board for Labor, Youth, Women Association and the Intellectual Property Division of the Department of Science and Technology visited AIT.
