The regional symposium is expected to draw attendees from a pool of the world's leading scientists, advocates and representatives from national research institutes within the region. Participants from NGO's, and the government and private sector are also being invited.
Further details on the Scientific Forum and AIT's response to the tsunami will be available at http://tsunami.ait.ac.th. A live Internet broadcast, as well, of the Scientific Forum will be aired for those who are unable to attend but may wish to follow the proceedings.
