AIT, TU and NSTDA to sign accord
The Land Lease Contract and Memorandum of Understanding on Academic and Inter-institutional Cooperation between AIT and Thammasat University have now been finalized. Everone is invited to a special ceremony which will be held at the AIT Conference Center Auditorium on Friday, 10 June 2005, 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at which the Land Lease Contract and MoU on Academic and Inter-institutional Cooperation between AIT and TU is scheduled to be signed. A separate Memorandum of Understanding will also be signed between AIT and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) on the same occasion.
The MoUs with Thammasat University and NSTDA cover academic cooperation through the exchange of scholars/experts, sharing of resources and facilities, sharing of materials and information, joint research projects, development of joint academic activities and educational linkages among others. The three neighbouring institutions will also foster relationships through the strengthening of inter-institutional cooperation through cultural, sports and other related activities.
Following the signing ceremony there will be discussions from 10:45 a.m.-12:00 noon between AIT, TU and NSTDA to take stock of the current partnership and also look into areas where there could be further collaboration. There will be a lunch reception at the AIT Conference Center Main Dining Room following the meeting.
