AIT Doctoral Student honored by Scientific American
Mr. Yu Xiaogang, a doctoral student in Gender and Development Studies, SERD, AIT has been recognized by Scientific American in its December 2005 issue.
For the fourth year, Scientific American has recognized 50 people, teams and organizations whose recent accomplishments, whether in research, business or policymaking, demonstrate leadership in shaping both established and emerging technologies.
Mr. Yu is one of this year's Scientific American 50 for his commitment and dedication to his work in rural watershed management through his Green Watershed NGO project based in Yunnan Province, China.
