International Agrophysics Journal Board Appoints Professor Salokhe
The International Agrophysics Journal Board recently appointed Professor Vilas Salokhe, of the Agricultural Systems and Engineering field of study in SERD, as Associate Editor of the journal. The tenure of service will be for two-years starting from 2006 to 2008.
International Agrophysics is a quarterly international journal on physics in environmental and agricultural sciences and has been published by the Institute of Agrophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences since 1985.
The journal focuses on physical properties and processes affecting biomass
production and processing. The main topics considered for publication in this
journal include mass (water, air, plant nutrient) and energy (light, heat)
transport in the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum and ways of their regulation
in order to produce biomass of high quantity and quality.
