ITServ Increases Storage Quota, Improves Service
A. MAIL SERVER MIGRATION FOR IMPROVED SERVICES

Starting November 8th in the evening, ITServ will roll out a new mail
system that will give users a disk storage quota of 100 Mb compared to
the current 10 Mb. This system is also expected to provide:

faster response times (new NAS storage back-end)
improved reliability (3 servers instead of 1, new storage
format avoiding mailbox corruption)
more flexible quota management with a grace period (instead of
immediately bounced mails)

More improvements will follow after this first stage, such as an
improved web mail.

The appointments of the School Deans and Director AIT Extension will be for a one-year period following which there will be discussions with a focus on performance and achievement before renewal of term.
