Prof. Said Irandoust, AIT President, recently announced the appointment of three new vice presidents (VPs). Appointed were as follows: Professor Peter Haddawy as VP for Education, Professor Sudip K. Rakshit as VP for Research and Professor Vilas Wuwongse and Professor Khin Ni Ni Thein as VP for External Relations.

The School of Environment, Resources and Development welcomes Dr. Binod B. Sandwar, from India as Visiting Lecturer in the Environmental Engineering and Management Field of Study.

Dr. Sandwar (right) received his Ph.D (Chemistry) from the L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga in 1997, and has served as Reader in Chemistry, Samastipur College, Samastipur (Bihar), India, since 1983. He also worked for nearly three years as In-charge of the Central Laboratory, Bihar State Pollution Control Board, Patna (Bihar), India.
