AIT mission to Indonesia

On 5 August 2005, Prof. Said Irandoust (4th from left, below), AIT President accompanied by Mr. Sanjeev Jayasinghe (2nd from right, below), Director of Promotions made a very short mission to Jakarta, Indonesia.
Visiting AIT
H.E. Mr. Madhukar Shumshere J.B. Rana (above right), Finance Minister, His Majesty's Government of Nepal visited AIT on 16 August 2005. Minister Rana was enroute to Nepal after attending the funeral ceremony of the Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar on behalf of the government of Nepal.
AIT Community School Celebrates Mother's Day
The new Academic Session in the AIT Community School (AITCS) commenced on 8 August 2005 amidst much anticipation and enthusiasm. Both staff and students were looking forward to a new beginning towards growth and learning.

The seminar wil be held at 1:15 p.m. in Room N-238, SCE Building.

A good education, Prof. Said Irandoust, AIT President, told 650 incoming students last Thursday, 04 August at the AIT Auditorium, is 'one that prepares students to answer questions we haven't even thought of ' he elaborated, hopes to instill in them that sort of exciting creativity - 'that energizing sense of your role in creating a socially just future.

His Excellency Professor Xu Guanhua, Minister of Science and Technology, People's Republic of China (PRC), recently visited AIT, and met with Professor Said Irandoust, AIT President.
SEA-UEMA holds First Policy Forum on Urban Environmental Management in Southeast Asia
The Southeast Asia Urban Environmental Management Applications (SEA-UEMA) Project, a 5-year partnership between the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), recently conducted the First Policy Forum on Urban Environmental Management in Southeast Asia.
