MoU Signing between UNEP and AIT
On 20 June 2005, The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and AIT signed
a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to renew their collaboration to enhance
and increase joint implementation of activities in the area of environment and
sustainable development.

Farewell reception in honor of Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, Acting President
H.E. Mr. Anand Panyarachun,
Chairman of the AIT Board of Trustees hosted a farewell reception on 23 June
2005 in honor of Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, Acting President of AIT, upon
the completion of his term of office, at Plaza Athenee Hotel.
Visiting AIT
On 8 June 2005, H.E. Mr. Yongyut Tiyapairat (center), Minister of the
Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE), made a visit to AIT and
toured the Queen Sirikit Arboretum Garden to which he discussed the possibility
to provide support.
Asian Public Intellectuals Fellowships (API Fellowships)
The Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University invites applications
for the Asian Public Intellectuals Fellowships (API Fellowships) Program. Funded
by the Nippon Foundation, the API Fellowships Program was launched in 2000 with
the collaboration of five partner institutions in the region.
