Chinese, Korean courses offered
Those interested in learning beginner's level Mandarin Chinese please register right away. Those interested in learning Korean should express an interest to the Language Center.
The schedule for the Chinese course is 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and Fridays from 1 February to 17 March 2006. Maximum class size is 20. The course will be conducted if at least 10 people register.
The course fee is 1,500 baht for students and 2,000 for staff to be paid in advance when you register. Receipts will be distributed in class. Register with Khun Nipa at the Learning Resource Center, Room 216, in the Language Center, Library Building second floor.
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additionally, the Korea International Cooperation Agency through the Korean Embassy has informed the Language Center that it will help AIT set up a Korean language course for beginners. The center needs to determine how many people at AIT are interested in studying Korean.
