Newly appointed German ambassador visits AIT
H.E. Dr. Christoph Brummer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, met with officials from AIT on 8 February 2006.
The visit was an occasion to strengthen the collaboration between AIT and German government. AIT President Said Irandoust presented the institute's academic offerings and activities, research facilities and relevant developments to the ambassador.
Dr. Brummer had an open discussion with the recipients of Katolischer Academischer Auslander - Dienst (KAAD) Scholarships and students from Germany. In addition, he visited the Industrial Systems Engineering (ISE) labs and protection cultivation project under the School of Environment, Resources and Development.
