Airline discusses collaboration with AIT
A delegation from Sri Lankan Airlines visited on 23 February 2006 to strengthen the collaboration between AIT and the airline by discussing a formal agreement in the near future.
AIT will play an instrumental role as a governing body of the Aviation Academy School which will be opening soon in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
In this regard, AIT Extension will work out for the training for this Aviation Academy School.
Mr. Hussain Jayah (above right), country manager, Sri Lankan Airlines for Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar, accompanied by Ms. Aungkana Piyakulvorawat, sales officer, Sri Lankan Airlines met with Prof. Said Irandoust, AIT president, Dr. Sahdev Singh, program director, Mr. Sanjeev Jayasinghe, head of external relations and communications office, Mr. Ralf Kircher, news and media specialist, and Mrs. Hnin Aye Lwin, program officer.
